| QUALIFICATIONS: • The following are key skills / experience for this position. Resumes that do not possess all, or at least most, of these skills should not be presented for consideration. • Experience with medium to large-scale clusters (64 nodes or larger). Experience in a High Performance Computing environment a strong plus. • Experience with cluster configuration management. • Experience with bcfg2 and or xCat a strong plus. • Knowledge and expertise with systems administration tools and scripting languages. Python is of particular interest. • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team. • Flexibility in dealing with assignments and working on several projects simultaneously. | |

| The following skills / experience are not required, but would be considered a strong plus: • Significant experience developing in the Python scripting language. • Networking experience, particularly Myrinet or Infiniband. • Network, parallel and/or clustered file system experience such as NFS, GPFS, PVFS, Lustre, and GFS. GPFS is of particular interest. • Experience with Data Direct Networks SAN environment. • Direct experience with, or assisting others with, writing, building, running, and/or debugging parallel programs utilizing MPICH or another MPI implementation. | |
